Jackie Brown’s Machine Quilting
Jackie Brown is a purist with her long-arm quilting. Buying a Gammill Optimum in 2005, she began to teach herself to use it. The results were a creativity not influenced by standard practice, but those she discovered herself. Two years later, her work was seen on a 1st place quilt at the Ft. Worth Show. At the 2010 Kiamichi Quilt Guild of Oak Jackie was awarded Best Machine Quilting, and this year at the Dallas Quilt Show she quilted three separate pieces that won 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Beyond her custom quilting for the public, she teaches her techniques through classes at area quilt stores as well as domestic machine quilting. Her creativity continues to spill into the industry by designing pantograph patterns that are available at the Quilt Mercantile in Celeste and www.lindaselectricquilters.com.
